Creative Practice: Give yourself credit!

I’ve started a new creative practice where I give myself credit for being creative—creative with a little “c.” What I mean is let’s say I make a delicious meal, or a really good-lookin’ spreadsheet—I call that creativity. I think we all could give ourselves some credit for our creativity.
For example—did you creatively problem solve something at work or home? Did you help create space for someone who needed you? Maybe you put together a cute outfit? Or did you create a better day for someone or yourself (see photo below)? Or you watered your plants… that’s sustaining a creation, right?
There are endless ways to be creative—and I think switching our minds to noticing those moments helps us to start moving towards a more creative identity. So, give yourself more credit for what you’re creating.
